JP Enterprises Home Inspection Services was founded in 2001. We started out offering home inspections and have grown into a full service inspection company serving Southeast Florida. Our Chief Inspector, Jorge Perez, has performed over 7000 inspections since we opened our doors. He specializes in residential home inspections, commercial inspections, windstorm mitigation inspections, 4 point inspections, roof condition certifications and construction draw inspections. Jorge is a long time member of InterNACHI, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the world’s largest trade association for home inspectors. In July 2010, Florida joined the ranks of states requiring licensing for home inspections. Jorge promptly applied and became the 61st inspector to receive a home inspection license. Florida statute requires that home inspectors send out an agreement that includes the inspector’s licensing information, the standards of practice the inspector works under and any exclusions. This is done so the client knows prior to the inspection what is, and is not, included in the inspection for the fee paid. We send this agreement electronically to make it convenient for our clients and they can sign online without the need to print and send back. The agreement can also be sent in pdf format for those who prefer that method. Per state statutes, we must receive the signed agreement prior to the day of inspection.
Jorge arrives at his inspections with a mobile office in his truck. Utilizing the latest technology and software, he uses a Fujitsu tablet computer to do the inspection and when finished, he prints the reports on site. There are some occasions where insurance services like wind mitigation inspections will emailed later if the permit history for the home is not available prior to the inspection date. We understand that time is of the essence with real estate transactions, so wifi will be used to promptly email reports for agents or clients unable to attend the inspection. This enables all parties, client, agents, and owners to move forward with the next step in their transaction seamlessly. Reports are stored securely online for at least 5 years and can be accessed 24/7 using the user name and password assigned to each client for your convenience. Customer assistance is available via phone, text or email from 8am to 9pm Monday through Saturday from our full time office staff.
